The Basic EKG – Review course consists of 8 hours home study and 16 hours in class earning the student 24 hours of credit. This course is ideal for the nurse graduate or the medical professional who has limited knowledge of rhythm interpretation. Students must have basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology of the heart and circulatory system. Students new to the medical field will benefit from this class as a review for lethal rhythms, heart blocks etc prior to taking ACLS for the first time.
