Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support Course

 

NAEMT’s Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) is recognized around the world as the leading continuing education program for pre-hospital emergency trauma care. It offers a unique approach to trauma care, promoting critical thinking and addressing multi-system trauma for the best patient care. PHTLS was developed in cooperation with the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma and is continually updated and revised to keep up with the advances in the field and ATLS Guidelines.

This 9th Edition – 16-hour course is for EMTs, paramedics, nurses, physician assistants, physicians and other prehospital providers.  Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a certificate of completion, a wallet card recognizing them as PHTLS providers for 4 years, and 16 hours of CAPCE credit.
